Ich habe auch getauscht und seit ich das neue Gerät mit 86.04.00 TSC habe ist kein blauer Rand entstanden. Ich muss aber noch länger testen. Beim alten Display ist es auch erst rund nach 8 Monaten los gegangen.

Da bin ich schon drüber weg, allerdings wie erwähnt, da ich beim täglichen Pendeln kaum aufs Gerät schaue, fahre ich immer Energiespar. Ich weiß nicht ob das einen Einfluss darauf hat.
 
Nein. Ich denke nicht mal, dass es rellevant ist, ob das Gerät genutzt wird oder nicht. Das Problem beim alten Display war ja, dass sich die Verklebung zweier Displayschichten gelöst hat, welches zu dem blauen Rand führte. Deswegen war das ja auch schleichendere Prozess, der bei verschiedenen Leuten unterschiedlich lange gedauert hat.
 
Wenn der Blauen Rand erscheinen tut dann geht es ungefähr bei 150 Betriebsstunden los, war bei meine 2 Geräte die ich reklamiert habe bevor ich die neue Display version bekam auch so, jetzt kann ich noch nichts dazu sagen ist erst etwa 1 Monat im Einsatz mit 47 Betriebsstunden.
 
Wie gesagt: Ich glaube nicht, dass Betriebsstunden hier groß Einfluss hatten. Eher die Zeit.
 
Na die Antworten lassen ja zumindest hoffen dass Garmin das Problem mit der neuen 86er Version im Griff hat...
Was mich noch ein bisschen stört ist dass sie keine neuen Geräte verschicken...
 
Woran erkennst Du das? Die schreiben zwar refurbished, aber um ehrlich zu sein, bin ich mir nicht sicher ob es nicht neue Geräte sind. Das ist in keinster weise transparent.
 
Ich habe ja noch nicht getauscht kanns also noch nicht erkennen.
Wenns aber neue sind umso besser...
 
Ich habe schon mehrmals Garmin Geräte getauscht: 1x EDGE 1000, 2x Fenix 5x, 1x Fenix 3, 1x EDGE 1030

Für mich kamen da immer neue Geräte. Ich habe nicht erkennen können, dass es nichts so ist. Ob da jetzt Innerteien von alten Geräten wiederverwendet wurden, weiß ich natürlich nicht, aber letztendlich war die HW immer dann auf dem letzten Stand: Fenix 5x z.B. hatte dann die neuen goldenen Ladepins. Der 1030 das neue Display.

Habe die neue Beta bei mir installiert und hat auch geklappt aber in Garmin Express wird nach den synchronisieren immer noch die 9.10er version angezeigt, ist dies so korrekt?
 
Ich hab meinen 1030 letzten Sommer ausgetauscht bekommen. Hab jetzt das neue Display und bisher ist kein blauer Rand mehr gekommen.

jetzt hat es mich auch erwischt, bzw. meine 1030 mit dem blauen Rand. Habe das Gerät eingeschickt. Wie kann man beim Austauschgerät den erkennen ob es sich um das "neue" Display handelt?

Kann man einsehen unter System gehst auf Info dann auf Copyright-Informationen TSC 85.11.00 ist noch der Alter. Version und der neue hat TSC 86.04.00.
