die wär perfekt für mein rossin gewesen, was ich grad neu aufbaue -.-' ..nur bin ich leider 2 stunden zu spät..vielleicht sollte ich mir n smartphone zulegen sodas ich immer up to date bin :rolleyes:

Naja komm. Wenn ich meiner Freundin ne Cam umschnalle und den Berg runter schicke und dann das Vid schneller ablaufen lasse sieht das auch.."echt krass" aus =)

weiss nicht, was deine freundin für n fahrstiel hat. :) angenommen es is nicht schneller gedreht, is es schon beeindruckend, vor allem bei minus 14 grad, da würd ich grad mal als eisblock vom fahrrad fallen. :(

Also am ende ist es auf jedenfall vorgespult. habauch nur "durchgezappt" 15min. sind zuuu lang. Aber nach viel spaß sieht das aus!!

Ja, sieht man am Ende sehr deutlich an den Knien, sonst hätte er ne ordentliche TF. :D

Hallo,

I'm sorry, my German is so rusty that I'll rather answer in English. I just happened to stumble upon this forum when checking my video statistics and found that the video was mentioned here.

And thanks for the positive comments. And, I agree, the video is way too long but you can quit watching any time when you wish ;)

As for the speed, all the video is real and it definitely is not speeded up. All I've done is I cut the video to scenes, added the music and resized the material from 1280x960 to 720p. Nothing else. You can easily count the cadence in the fast parts where the knees are visible. I did that to check it and for example in about 1:34 to 1:50 the cadence is about 71rpm, which with 46-19 gearing I'm using, makes about 22km/h. You're welcome to visit me at Oulu, Finland to see the original video straight from the camera :) Or even better, join us for a nice winter fixie ride here. In the end, beginning from about 13:00 I'm riding down the about-biggest downhill we have here. That's why the speed and cadence (TF = cadence, right?) are quite high there.
For example, from 13:05,178 to 13:12,252 it's 11 full revolutions in 7,074s. That makes a cadence of 93,3rpm. On a 46-19 and 700x32c that makes 29,23km/h. Nothing extraordinary in my opinion ;)

That camera has a shooting angle of 170 degrees. I'm using a chest mount which places the camera in a quite low position. Those two things for sure account on how fast the speed in the video looks like.

Anyway, keep the fixie scene high up!

would like to, but I got a cold at the moment.... :) Perhaps join you in spring (probably the better time to travel to finnland) having a nice trip through the woods..
