Mavic ssc hard blue rims

Mavic hard blue 24 spoke.

hi all,

Does anyone have any information about 24 spoke Mavic Hard blue rims?.Lots of Information about 28,32 and 36 but i cant find anything about 24 spoke rims!.

The rear wheel is laced 'crows foot' and tied and soldiered and the front wheel is radial spoke.

Anyone info much appreciated.

Very nice indeed. Never owned these SSC's, but recently learnt that the winner of the 1975 (!) Giro d'Italia had a Pinarello bike with these same anodized rims. I always associated dark anodized rims with the early eighties. Go figure... Also enclosed a page of the Mavic catalogue of 1980 showing you that at least it was available with 24 holes, from the disraeligears website

besides Marcel Borthayre, where the special crows foot lacing originates, there is also an italian spin off by the Magniflex mechanic Fernando Morini, from Pieve a Nievole.

Und ich dachte die dunkel eloxierten SSC gab es erst ab 79? Oder waren die dann erst für den nicht-profi zu erwerben?

Anodisierung der Felgen wurde im 1975 von Mavic eingefuehrt, steht auch auf ihrer Internetseite o geschrieben. Ob dann gold, dunkelgrau oder dunkelblau spielt ja keine Rolle. Die Geschichte mit den Profis, die Sachen zuerst ausprobieren mussten, glaub ich nicht. Das war eher umgekehrt, vor allem fuer Sachen, die neu waren und noch nicht im Alltag erprobt.
