Shimano has updated the DURA- ACE wheel set line-up completely, offering the perfect high-end road racing wheels for all riding circumstances. Besides the available rim choices of 24 and 50mm height, Shimano is now also offering a 35mm carbon rim that offers an excellent combination of high rigidity, low weight and excellent aerodynamics. All new wheel sets feature the new DURA-ACE 7900 hubs with Shimano’s proven cup-and-cone technology as well as a new bearing adjustment system that enables easy manual adjustment without the use of a cone wrench.
These DURA-ACE wheel sets have been tested extensively in the previous year by many professional riders, including Oscar Freire and Robert Gesink (Rabobank), Samuel Sanchez (Euskaltel) and Juan Antonio Flecha (SKY). Also the new carbon composite DURA-ACE pedals were tested by our sponsored professional teams over the previous year.
