Moin zusammen,
Dear Mr. XXX,
Hello, I am writing on behalf of Mr. Shigeru Nakagawa.
First of all, sorry for taking a long time to reply.
I spoke with Mr. Nakagawa today, so here are answers for your questions.
Mr. Nakagawa says the frame is made for DA7400 STI (8 speed) with a 130mm rear-end originally, and he thinks someone modified the width.
Regarding the repair of seat tube, those two method you mentioned are technically possible but absolutely not recommended for your frame because doing so will weaken the tube and induce a crack. Especially because the boss is placed near the bottom bracket where all the weight and force is applied to the area. Mr. Nakagawa says it's better to leave it as it is and will not touch it.
Here are rough estimate of cost.
(1)Replacement of top tube: XX,000 yen
* Replacement of a seat lug and head lug will cost extra.
(2) Widening the rear to 130mm: X,000 yen
(3) Paint: XX,000 yen (single color) Additional color costs XX,000 yen.
(4) Shipping and Handling to Germany: About XX,000 yen.
Shipping to Japan and any custom charge is at your cost. We will send you an invoice after receiving the frame. The repair takes about 2 to 3 months. After receiving the full payment, we start the work and ship the frame. You can make a payment by Paypal or bank transfer.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
XXX
Was sagt ihr denn so dazu???
