I bought this georgeous campy pista pedals today

and would like to regrease them. they are spining quite well
but I want it perfect

Is it difficult to open them ? The dust caps are lookin weeeird !

denke die dust caps bekommste mit nem ganz normalen vielzahn schlüssel auf.

otherwise i'd use a worn out underhemd and a rohrzange

staubkappen hab ich mit ner spitzzange (strada-pedal) sachte abbbekommen. spezialschlüssel, aha, hab ich nicht. 15er kante in den schraubstock gespannt. fett mit dem daumen rein gepreßt und gedreht und gedreht. das dann ungefähr 147 mal wiederholt. nicht perfekt aber tauglich.

You could also drill a small hole into the dustcap, fill grease in with an injection and needle and afterwards fix the hole with a small amount of solder, chalk, wax or similar stuff.

des brauchst du doch gar ned für die pista dinger. ich hab hier ein paar stradas da stellt sich der käfig allen normalen schlüsseln in den weg.

Campa rulez bois, the pedals will react allergisch to the rice-burner wrench and will self-destruct to a pile of aluminium dust intstantly. Do not even think about it and get the only right and holy campa wrench from the big internet bay.
Also you have to use the right white Campa grease for the same reason, the wrong grease will lead to immediate failure and the balls will explode under Last.
I have the right wrench and store it in my Bankfach together with my campa tie which i only wear for mariages or when the pope comes to Vicenza and asks me to service his golden Colnago.
