Cycling Documentary: "The Lost Merckx" The Ultimate Cycling Barnfind auf YOUTUBE

The Lost Merckx tells the story of how an important personal bicycle from the world's greatest ever cyclist, Eddy Merckx, ended up living in the attic of an old bicycle shop just outside Manchester, in the North West of England.
The film was inspired by Gerry Shields, the hero of our story and his incredibly rare bicycle. Gerry opened his cycle shop in 1947, staying in business for an amazing 75 years. Just before the business finally closed its doors for the last time, I interviewed the then 97 year old Gerry at the shop. The fascinating story told here is just one small part of the final 4 hour interview we captured as Gerry reflected on his long life with both humour and candour.
