Am Samstag, 18. Februar, um 18 Uhr, startet die eSports WM.
Die scheinen jetzt das Format geändert zu haben, mit Ausscheidungsrennen:
The big question is, how are you going to watch the UCI Cycling Esports World Championships? Cozy on the couch with some bevvies and snacks, maybe even Scottish-inspired food and drink? Or are you going to ride the new Scotland world as some of the best racers in the world give it their all, hoping to earn their place in the record books? Don’t worry, you won’t slow them down.
The women’s and men’s races include world-class competitors slugging it out in a new format.
It all starts with 100 racers. Only 30 advance to round two, where just 10 make it into the final.
Each race is about 20 minutes, so get ready to see some ridiculously fast times. Round three will see 10 people fighting for a place in the record books and the privilege of wearing the UCI Cycling Esports World Champions jersey for a year.
The racing starts at 6pm UTC on February 18.
