And hopefully with better paint quality than on my Mason Bokeh. But since only a handful are being made for showrooms anyway, it doesn't really matter. They won't be used for their intended purpose.

Hi Stuhli, We take great pride in our frame quality and finishing so it's unusual to hear this. Have you been in contact with us so that we can address this for you? We don't have showrooms, so this is purely a development model to fully test the concepts before thinking about offering the bike for sale. This concept bike with special finish and detailing was developed for the DTSwiss CBD's and it absolutely will be used for its intended purpose during testing. If we go ahead with small-batch production we fully expect these bikes to be used for long distance travel and multi-terrain adventure and this bike is just the start of our process.

Thanks Dom for your answer. I bought the bike used; it's a gravel bike, which, with regular use, tends to get a few scratches. That's not a big deal for me. I'm just surprised that even minor contact, like removing and installing the rear wheel, results in deeper scratches. I'd be happy to send you a picture or two.
