I lost motivation the last few weeks so didn't do much during the MIT or last 2 HIT weeks. Did some zwift races and performed well.
Did the final test tonight, 381 watts, a lot less than my previous best result of 412, but that was expected. I did a Zwift race last night and my legs were dead...
I switched around the schedule a bit and did the 4x20 4 hour yesterday afternoon, managed it alright. Was supposed to do the 5 hour LIT today, only managed 4 hours, legs felt completely dead. Hope I can manage the 3 hours tomorrow. Doing these rides 3 days in a row was probably not the smartest...
Did a zwift race yesterday instead of the FastStart and did the 40/20s today.
Did them on zwift without ERG mode, felt better than using ERG. I had to stop before the full 40 seconds a few times and with ERG you get stuck in the resistance and can't move the pedals. Without ERG I could still...
Team B:
Was at 407W from last test, this one 394W. I expected something like that as my legs were dead yesterday during the workout. I think it's a case of being tired more than the training not working. I set W/kg PBs in my Zwift race on Tuesday, so I think the training is working. I'm going...
Is your first message to turn ERG off? The translation to English doesn't make sense when I translate it.
I thought about doing the workout during a zwift race and not using ERG, I do find it easier to push hard during a race. I've read it's good to do these type of workouts without ERG being...
Did the 4x8 @80% today. Surprised myself and was able to complete them all. The last 2-3 minutes of the final 2 intervals were quite tough. HR maxed out at 92% of max HR, not sure if that's good or bad. Overall it actually went better than I thought, I didn't think I'd be able to complete them...
I was a week behind but skipped HIT this week and did some zwift races instead. I did the test today, after a race yesterday and another tomorrow. Probably not a good idea but I wasn't mentally ready for HIT so skipped ahead and am on the same schedule as everyone else now.
Most recent test...
Team B, 1 week behind so did the 2nd pVO2max today.
pVO2MAX - 392 to 403
LIT: 100% + 1 Zwift race + 30min easy spin
MIT: -1 session, Zwift race instead, + 30min easy spin
HIT: 100% + 1 Zwift race
Did an extra zwift race this week and the rest of the scheduled rides with the test today. HIT...
Thanks, that seemed to work. I guess I don't need the e-bike ftp in intervals at all then. It showed the planned workout as an e-bike and 90 load. Then it loaded the actual workout based on my ftp and it's 193 load. It still had the e-bike workout on there too so I had to delete that. I guess...
It felt pretty easy, just long. I did 45% of pvo2max which is what the workout is setup for. I was just going to ignore the load values on intervals.icu. It just confused me why it's so off since I have ebike set up with the pvo2max value instead of my actual ftp.
I don't know if I've got everything set up correctly. I'm a week behind so I'm doing the LIT week. Intervals says my 3 hour ride yesterday was only 60 load, that seems low to me, what load values are other people getting for week 1 Thursday ride? I did a chill zwift ride today, 20 watts more...
I found a workaround for this so your FTP in Zwift remains the same but you can do workouts at the pvo2max value.
In a workout text file if you add <ftpOverride>392</ftpOverride> that will use my pvo2max value of 392 for the workout intervals instead of my FTP in zwift of 302. This line needs...
I use zwift for all my riding. I noticed when downloading the workouts from intervals.icu they are set as run workouts instead of bike. In the text document/zwo.file it says "<sportType>run</sportType>", I believe it should say bike instead of run. I couldn't find the workouts in zwift when it...
Vruton, B Team, M, 30-39, 3 years, pvo2max: 392. FTP per zwift after race 302, probably more like 282 which I averaged on an alpe du zwift ride recently.
(I don't speak German, should I translate into German before posting or just post in English)
