Beim Sea Otter 2018 hat die Marke einen Prototypen ausgestellt, der ab 2019 bei den H\u00e4ndlern stehen soll. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Any place it goes is right&#8220;, singt <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Steppenwolf_(band)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steppenwolf<\/a> im Song &#8222;Magic Carpet Ride&#8220; aus dem psychedelischen Road Movie Easy Rider. Ein Rennrad, mit dem man wirklich alles machen kann, wollten die Entwickler von Niner mit dem Magic Carpet Ride \u2013 zu deutsch &#8222;Flug auf dem fliegenden Teppich&#8220; \u2013 auf die R\u00e4der stellen. Der taiwanesische Hersteller <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apro-tek.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apro<\/a> hatte auf der Eurobike 2017 bereits ein vollgefedertes Gravelbike vorgestellt. Das Apro unterscheidet sich aber in vielen Punkten vom Niner MCR 9 RDO, unter anderem setzt Niner auf einen Carbonrahmen statt Aluminium. ausgestellt, der allerdings schon mit funktionsf\u00e4higen Komponenten best\u00fcckt war. Das gezeigte Niner MCR 9 RDO setzte auf einen Shimano Ultegra Di2 2&#215;11 Antrieb. Laufr\u00e4der von Enve Composites. Das SES 4.5 AR Disc ist das Aero Gravel-Laufrad der Carbon-Laufradbauer und besitzt 25 mm Maulweite \u2013 genug, um die bis zu 50 mm breiten 28-Zoll-Reifen im Niner gut abzust\u00fctzen. Am Prototyp war au\u00dferdem eine Dropper-Post montiert, was zum breiten angepeilten Einsatzspektrum passt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Federwege und Kinematik sollen laut Niner auf das Pedalieren im Sattel angepasst sein. F\u00fcr die Kinematik des Hinterbaus hat Niner laut eigenen Angaben bereits Patente angemeldet. Das Gewicht des Rades ist noch nicht bekannt.
