Positiv f\u00fcr Einsteiger: Die Ergonomie soll sich stark an der bew\u00e4hrten Shimano 105 orientieren. Die Hebelform wurde laut Shimano so angepasst, dass sie auch f\u00fcr kleinere H\u00e4nde gut erreichbar ist, was besonders im Gel\u00e4nde f\u00fcr mehr Sicherheit sorgen d\u00fcrfte. Die mechanischen Hebel steuern die hydraulischen Bremsen (z.B. Das schafft Platz im kritischen Bereich der Kettenstreben. Bei den Kurbeln besteht die Wahl zwischen der steifen Hollowtech II-Variante (FC-U6040-2) und einer g\u00fcnstigeren 2-Piece-Kurbel.
