Van Rysel pr\u00e4sentiert auf der VeloFollie das Konzeptbike FTP\u00b2. Der radikale Prototyp soll das Gef\u00fchl von Profi-Geschwindigkeit vermitteln und die Functional Threshold Power (FTP) der Fahrer verdoppeln. Ausgestattet mit einem Mahle M40-Motor dient das Rad als Technologietr\u00e4ger.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die fl\u00e4mische Premium-Radsportmarke stellt mit dem FTP\u00b2 ihr bislang ehrgeizigstes Projekt vor. Gemeinsam mit Partnern wie Swiss Side und Mahle SmartBike Systems wurde das Konzept \u00fcber mehrere Jahre entwickelt. Bevor bei den ersten die Schnappatmung einsetzt \u2013 das Modell ist ausdr\u00fccklich nicht f\u00fcr den Verkauf bestimmt. Herzst\u00fcck ist ein ma\u00dfgeschneiderter Mahle M40-Motor. Das Mittelmotor-Aggregat liefert standardm\u00e4\u00dfig 850 W und 105 Nm Spitzenleistung bei einem Gewicht von rund 2,5 kg und kommt mit Features wie unter anderem einer Hill Brake, also einer Anfahrhilfe f\u00fcr Steigungen. Inwieweit der Antrieb modifiziert wurde, verr\u00e4t Van Rysel nicht, allerdings ist die Rede davon, dass herk\u00f6mmliche Geschwindigkeitsgrenzen von E-Bikes gesprengt werden sollen, um extreme Leistungsszenarien zu erforschen. Dabei soll der FTP (Functional Threshold Power) der Fahrer verdoppelt werden, woher auch der Name des Projekts r\u00fchrt \u2013 FTP\u00b2. <\/p>\n

Laut Projektleiter Wim Van Hoecke habe man mit dem FTP\u00b2 traditionelle Rahmenbedingungen verlassen, um extreme Leistung kontrolliert zu erforschen. Jede Komponente sei als Teil eines einzigen Systems entwickelt worden, um bestehende Grenzen zu verschieben.<\/p>\n

Das Rad fungiere als \u201erollendes Labor\u201c f\u00fcr zuk\u00fcnftige E-Road- und Hochleistungs-Anwendungen. Vom vollst\u00e4ndig integrierten Cockpit \u00fcber die propriet\u00e4re Elektronik bis hin zu einer radikalen Schuh-Pedal-Schnittstelle und aerodynamischen Textilien sei jedes Element als Teil eines \u00d6kosystems konzipiert. Auch wenn das FTP\u00b2 nicht kommerzialisiert wird, sollen die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse die zuk\u00fcnftige Produktentwicklung direkt beeinflussen.<\/p>\n

Interessant auch, dass an den Konzept-Schuhen SRAM AXS Akkus verbaut sind. Sie sollen eine Gr\u00f6\u00dfenanpassung per Funksteuerung vom Lenker aus erlauben!<\/p>\n
