Die aktuelle Generation setzt st\u00e4rker als je zuvor auf Race-Performance: leichterer Rahmen, aggressivere Geometrie und eine Top-Ausstattung mit Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 sowie den ultraleichten Newmen Streem Vonoa Carbon-Laufr\u00e4dern gibt es an unserem Radon Spire Test Rad mit dem K\u00fcrzel 10.0. Wo das Spire fr\u00fcher noch als ausgewogener Allrounder zwischen Sport und Komfort galt, zeigt die Neuauflage klar die Richtung: kompromissloses Performance-Bike \u2013 ohne dabei vollkommen auf Alltagstauglichkeit zu verzichten.<\/p>\n<p>Mit diesem Setup tritt das Spire 10.0 in direkte Konkurrenz zu Bikes wie dem Van Rysel RCR-R, dem Canyon Ultimate oder dem Rose Xlite. Alles sitzt fest, nichts klappert, auch die innen verlegten Leitungen verhalten sich absolut unauff\u00e4llig. Das Rad l\u00e4uft leise und vermittelt selbst auf rauem Asphalt und Kopfsteinpflaster einen soliden Eindruck. Auch bei den Details hat Radon mitgedacht: So ist etwa die Klemmung der D-Shape-Sattelst\u00fctze sauber integriert und bleibt beim Herausziehen zuverl\u00e4ssig an ihrem Platz.<\/p>\n<h2>Ausstattung: Wer bietet mehr?<\/h2>\n<p>Die neue Spire-Serie umfasst drei Modelle, die sich einen identischen Carbonrahmen und die charakteristische Optik teilen, sich aber bei Ausstattung, Gewicht und Preis deutlich unterscheiden. Unter dem von uns getesteten Topmodell Spire 10.0 positioniert sich das Spire 9.0 mit Ultegra Di2 und Newmen Advanced A.50 Laufr\u00e4dern, das bei 3.599 \u20ac startet und rund 7,5 kg wiegt. Den Einstieg markiert das Spire 8.0 mit Shimano 105 Di2, DT Swiss Alu-Laufr\u00e4der und ein Gesamtgewicht von 8,45 kg bei einem Preis von 2.799 \u20ac. Zudem ist der Sitzwinkel um 0,5 Grad flacher. Dadurch wirkt das Spire bei gleicher Vorbaul\u00e4nge sp\u00fcrbar \u201egr\u00f6\u00dfer\u201c als das Tarmac. Insgesamt bewegen sich die Abweichungen also im normalen Rahmen, sodass ich die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe M beim Spire als absolut \u201etrue to size\u201c einstufen w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n<h2>Auf dem Kurs: stark im Antritt<\/h2>\n<p>Nachdem ich f\u00fcr den Radon Spire Test das Fitting angepasst hatte, ging es direkt zur ersten Ausfahrt in die Wetterau. Das Terrain dort ist \u00fcberwiegend flach, unterbrochen von kleinen H\u00fcgeln \u2013 perfekt, um das Rad auf Antritten und kurzen Rampen zu testen. Starke Ausstattung, super Optik und ein \u00fcberzeugendes Fahrverhalten machen es zu einer spannenden Alternative \u2013 gerade f\u00fcr alle, die auch mal auf den Preis schauen. Testr\u00e4der werden in der Redaktions-Werkstatt endmontiert. F\u00fcr den Test werden die R\u00e4der gewogen, die Sitzposition wird bei identischer Sattelh\u00f6he (bezogen auf die Tretlagermitte) vermessen und die Reifen auf den mittleren empfohlenen Reifendruck bef\u00fcllt. F\u00fcr eventuelle Gel\u00e4ndefahrten wird der Reifendruck zus\u00e4tzlich auf den unteren empfohlenen Wert gesenkt.
