Im Modelljahr 2021 wird es nun auch mit einem 40 Nm starken E-Bikemotion X35-Antriebssystem als elektrisierte Variante angeboten. Dank dem voll integrierten Akku mit 250 Wh ist das Merida eSilex auf den ersten Blick kaum als E-Bike zu erkennen. Das Akkukonzept und der Nabenmotor tragen neben der unauff\u00e4lligen Optik auch zum geringen Gesamtgewicht von nur 14 kg beim eSilex 400 bei.
